life lately
Whew. Things are getting busy over here. Summer is happening. Here’s how we’re living (and eating):
We picked our first strawberries of the year! I have about eight zillion of them and need to bake something. Any ideas?
A few days ago I discovered this mint bush, which has descended upon my yard. I have no idea where it came from.
On Sunday mornings after church most weeks, we coffee and brunch it. I like to wear my red jeans and sit outside.
On some of those mornings we eat things like this. It’s not always responsible.
On Sunday nights we eat tacos. Always. It’s not a question.
And we just got our first CSA box here in Portland! It arrived a week ahead of what I anticipated…after I bought groceries for the week. We have some eating to do.
I also don’t eat responsibly on the weekends
As it should be I think.
I noticed that Ruby didn’t get to check out the strawberries…:)
So glad you get to do the CSA thing again!
I love each pice of this. You should jam it up woth the strawberries, then definiotely freze some.You’ve most likely already thought of this, so how about making a strawberry rhubard something??? That’s always delicious! And, I love the red jeans.
